Renovation of the MÉMOSZ Headquarters

The renovation of the MÉMOSZ headquarters is an important step in the history of this iconic building. The building will live on as the Liget Center and will be home to RTL Hungary. The aim of the renovation is to bring the headquarters up to modern standards while respecting the values and traditions of the past.

The most efficient and aesthetic solutions were sought in the development of the renovation plan. The plans include the revitalisation of the exterior façade, energy modernisation and a rethinking of the interior spaces. During the renovation, old mechanical systems were removed and replaced by new, modern systems.

The renewal of the building is also unique from a mechanical engineering point of view, as it required the use of energy-conscious and comfortable solutions in line with the times. The heating and cooling needs of the building are met as far as possible by renewable energy sources. During the design process, care was taken to avoid the use of fossil fuels, thus ensuring that energy needs are met in an energy-conscious and environmentally friendly way.
